The Women’s Resilience Project was created by Dr. Tracy Hipp. It seeks to better understand the unique experiences of women and to celebrate their strengths.
Women from all over the US as well as several other countries participated in The Project. We heard from women across the US as well as from a number of other countries. We also heard from women 18 years old up to 71 years old. Women were from different racial and ethnic backgrounds, had different sexual orientations, and represented their gender in a variety of ways. We are learning a lot about women’s relationships and life experiences, both the good and the bad, from every single person who participated in this project. Understanding the unique experiences of women in all of our diversity is important in order to build strong, healthy communities as well as to design social services for women with diverse experiences, interests, and needs. We are excited to begin sharing our results in the coming months. We hope that you will check in periodically or contact us to learn what’s new at Resilience Project headquarters.
We hope that you will take a few minutes to look around our site. Also, feel free to e-mail us with any questions you may have. We look forward to hearing from you!
